Davenport is a city in and the county seat of Scott County, Iowa, United Scott County, Iowa, United States. It is located in the central part of the state and is home to a population of nearly 59,000. It is one of the Quad Cities, along with neighboring Rock Island, East Moline and East Peoria. DavenRD, the city is located near the headwaters of the Mississippi River, about upstream from its confluence with the Raccoon River.
